    Panzerfaust detail.

    As requested by Jan,
here are some details of the original finish and stencils that are left on my Panzerfaust.
First up we have a shot of the remnants of the instruction label on the warhead. If you look closely you can see in the top right of the label a graphical representation of the weapon being fired.

          Stencil detail.

here are some images of the stencils to be found all over the tube.
These are difficult to pick up on camera, but i hope they give a flavour of the typical german tan paint finish, and type of stencils you find on an untouched piece.

Here is a final shot of the weapon.
You can see the tube and warhead.
I remember when i bought this item..i had gone to visit a dealers home one afternoon to buy some basic items (breadbags and waterbottles), when he showed me this. Suffice to say, it went home with me!

                Further posts?

Well, i hope you liked the latest batch of things.
If there is any more interest, i might post some trousers. These tend to be ignored, but they are a vital (and expensive), part of any uniform collection. I also have another parka to post, but i'm waiting on a buckle to finish part of it off...
The rest of the collection comprises standard field equipment, jackboots, winter boots, and mountain boots, and the cloth sidecaps worn in the earlier posts, plus one or two more not yet seen.If any of this stuff is of interest, just let me know.
Thanks for all the kind comments,

                Patrick.
