Thanks for your thoughts regarding my recovery! Patrick, here's a Thai item you might find interesting. It's a handmade model of an F-111 that doubles as a lamp! It has a small light bulb mounted under the nose and was powered by a battery mounted under the stand. The battery was made in Bangkok. This thing is big, almost two feet long, and has working swing-wing and ailerons. Enjoy! Jeff (Gunbunny)

Well as promised I became an association member to be able to add to this brilliant thread.
Here is my first ever Vietnam purchase. I decided deliberately to make it early advisor era and try to build up from there. This is a nice shirt with the wide cuffs and metal starred buttons. Great MACV & Ranger arc SSIs with nice original metal collar insignia.
I actually managed to buy this guys OG-107 shirt from ebay recently to add to the group.
Does anybody know how I could find some more information on this guy?Attached FilesLast edited by 101LRRP; 12-07-2006, 02:24 PM.

Hi Roscoe,
that is a nice item.
Two of the most steadfast allies the US had in Vietnam were the ANZAC units.
I have some Australian uniform items to photograph shortly.
Thanks for the compliments,
Patrick.

Looking at the photo of that slouch hat it does not look right, the bash, insignia and the construction.
Cheers,Paul.
