These came out of a veteran's footlocker!
Its an early-period, pre RZM coded SS 1933 Gottlieb Hammesfahr made piece. The dagger is in average condition, with it's original hanger loop removed which (I have been told on WAF) was intentially done sometimes for the vertical dagger hanger, but I really don't know...
Anyway its nicely district-stamped with the Roman Numeral III for Dresden, so an official SS issue piece, not a private purchase model.Attached FilesLast edited by NickG; 01-30-2009, 01:14 AM.
