B10 flight jacket saved from the trash
Here's a new acquisition, actually it was FREE! This B10 flight jacket was saved from the trash today! The family of the vet (deceased) was going to throw it away! The guy was a WW2 Airforce crewmember stationed in the UK with the 8th airforce. Not sure what unit or if he was a pilot or a gunner... 8AF that's all I know... but the coat was saved for posperity thank goodness! Its in great condition except for some cuff wear and the USAAF sleeve stencil has faded...now barely visible...
