    MArk,
A fine start on your collection. You can never go wrong with EK's! Would it be possible for you to share your your numbered PAB? I ask as there is currently a thread dealing with G.B. marked PAB's in the badges forum.

Im not sure exactly what you mean my friend , sorry. If you mean can you see some better pics then yes i will post them right away. I am sorry if at some point you were misled into thinking it was maker marked but i dont think it is. As you see by my collection it is one of the very limited amount of pieces which are not actually crosses. I bought it on impulse as it was cheap and it is slightly bent and twisted. Sorry...Stomper

Id say over priced with that condition, get a nice cased one for 2200 , I think 'Munster' has a nice one on the e-stand now for that and its a hard to find maker for a DKIG http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=163082

                      Hello,

Since you've been collecting less than a year your doing really well having a matching pair of Iron crosses and a KVK1 with swords cased.

                      Kind regards,

                              Impressive collection, Stomper!
I was in Sterling ten years ago, and really liked the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders Museum. Too bad the regiment was axed. I collect Scottish as well as German militaria.

Hi Andy , i`m glad you had the chance to experience our wonderfull town . We have a lot of heritage about here. Did you get to the Wallace monument at all. Spectacular views over Stirling and surrounding areas and a shrine to the Great man himself William Wallace.
It is a shame about the Argylle and Sutherland regiment but i suppose times have to move on like everything else. It is just that it was one of the oldest regiments left in scotland at that time eh..
If there is ever anything you are looking for that you find hard to get them feel fre to ask me and i will look about for you . I have an antique dealer about 40 miles away who i only get up to see rarely but his collection of German and Scottish militaria is phenomenal. Embarrasingly i have to say i know absolutely nothing about Scottish militaria , but as i say if you need anything then i have someone i can see for anything you require . I am surmising it will be a bit cheaper to buy Scottish stuff in Scotland...Lol
