With reference to your question , how can i afford it , to be honest when you look at other collections where people have numerous RK`s and other top awards , if i sold my whole collection then maybe i could afford 1 of those awards. Puts it into perspective eh .
If it makes you feel any better i do send my wife out to work as well .
I also work 1 evening a week .

Well all week with nothing new and then these 2 little beauties arrive and make it all seem worthwhile.
1st up is a cased L/11 in near mint condition
2nd up is a boxed Wound Badge mm65

Oh my god , i could never have imagined it would look as good as it does in hand . I am so happy with my latest purchase , my Brass cored EK1 , in a mint case too .

I have seen this kind before, somebody took the paint off of the Swastika to make it look nicer. It is very nice. How many EKs do you have, and can you post a picture of your Entire collection all together at once in one photo?

The 1st pic does not include the brass EK and the new war merit cross mm65 i just got . The 2nd pic is my mm65 collection again without the war merit cross , with swords and the black wound badge mm65 which is on its way from Detlev .
