Here's the SS M44 dot hbt tunic..unissued and looks never worn(except by this guy)..I'll have to post pics of the matching SS hbt dot kielhosen..which are also mint and unworn.

Here is an unissued mint SS Sturmgeschutz wrapper and unissued M44 pants. In In my opinion the fieldgrey Stug wrapper..SS ..just as its army counterpart, are much rarer than its twin black brother. I believe the pants are of SS manufacture based upon details/cloth and other pieces I have. ,I was pretty lucky to be in the right place and time to acquire this set..and its one of my favorite pieces. Its the same jacket pictured on page 17 of Volume 6 of "Soldat.Equipping the Waffen SS Panzer Divisions 1942-1945" by Richard Mundt and Cyrus Lee. Its not displayed here very well...however I will repost in the Uniforms on Mannequin just as soon as I finish painting the face of my mannequin! Minus the boards, which did not come with the piece and not original to the jacket, the wrapper is like new, and just as it came out of the factory. Its flawless and a wonderful study of SS wrapper construction and detail.

Here is a mint cased LDO EKII..acquired from Bob Sevier of "The Cracked Pot" in the early 70's when my father and I were still collecting badges and medals. Luckily..we held on to this piece..! It retains 99 percent of the nice original frosting, and the case as well is complete with original ribbon and in perfect condition.

well..no one that has seen the whole case in person has ever had a problem with it...its been with the medal since day one..and just the way it is...anything is possilbe..but I dont think its a repro. What about it specifically causes you concern? I've been dealing with Bob since the mid 70's..my father even earlier..Bob has alway impressed me as very knowledgable..I dont think its something that would have slipped by him and Chuck..if you know who they are, their reputation speaks for itself. However..Im all ears if you can tell me why its not original.
