Luftwaffe M42 mantel (unissued)

All of this talk of overcoats led to me getting my first one! Picked up an unissued standard Luftwaffe M42. Some more pictures here:-

Also picked up a stone mint Luftwaffe Noelle & Hueck (Lüdenscheid) "L" marked buckle which I thought goes well with it. Also good for displaying a variety of different boards etc.

First 2 pictures portraying a Flight/ FJ Unteroffizier with an aluminium buckle I already had.

Storm collar up, first with Pioneer EM boards, then with Hermann Goring Division EM boards. Post Oct 1942, no need for collar patches, and judging by various pictures on Bill Petz's excellent HG photo thread, no need for a HG cuff-title on a greatcoat as a general rule!

Stone mint Luftwaffe Noelle & Hueck (Lüdenscheid) "L" marked buckle. Been after a mint steel buckle for a while, not that many about. Hope you like it!

Hi HAF, you're right now that I look at it! I expect they would be cut to length after being issued, so probably issued too long? I would be hesitant to cut it however, so could perhaps fold it up next time I display it.
