Yes, there are many referance wartime photos showing the use of the ZF4 scope on the MP44 with two types of mount. The MP44 was also fitted with the Zielgerat 1229 Vampir infrared night vision scope/sight. The MP44 pictured has a post war applied mount to accept the ZF4 scope and mount. The scope and mount was obtained from an ETO Vet. that fought in the Texas/Oklahoma, T/O("Tough Hombres") Div. Regards Bill

These stands are actually very easy and cheap to make. You make 2 identical circular pieces off wood, and between them you glue or screw a turn disc( the one ment for tv, and pc screens). I have added 4 whels to the stand, so i easily can move it around. Total cost around 15-20$ for each complete stand..
