Took forever, but I found that damned Signals PO2 for the white uniform.

And where did I find it - on eBay, of course......

Very Nice, I love the old wood style setting.

I just got these from Garth Thompson. They have a lot of wear, but the brown secondary color is quite rare. They are for an Oberstleutnant of the High or Elevated Career at the Heeresfachschuldienst (Non-Technical teacher at a Professional School).

Dave, thank you for showing us your collection! I must say that you have a VERY understanding wife that MUST love you very much! It is a rare women that could endure such a mans pleasure as this! I dont live too far from you, perhaps some day I would be so lucky to see it in person? Mike

Suber - I'm always open to visits. (And yes, the wife is very understanding - just don't tell her I said so....)

A while back I had a member ask me about some Customs boards, so thought I'd post a couple.

This board is for a Landzoll (Land Custons) 1st Lieutenant. The eagle (instead of the RFV device) was used on the 1934-pattern Customs uniform. Changed to RFV in 1937.

This is the type of Customs board commonly encountered. Has the RFV device. Rank is Zolloberwachtmeister.

This last one is a set for an Oberzollinspektor (Captain). The dull silver indicates the Landzollbeamte (Zollgrenzschutz) (Land Customs Officials (Customs Frontier Protection Service)), while bright silver was for the Zollbeamte (Customs Officials). RFV is the abbreviation for Reichsfinanzverwaltung (National Finance Administration).

Got around to scanning some paper stuff. The first one is an original set of black buttons still on the sales card.
