Show us your early 1957 rks

    Hello hello

Calling all owners of early 1957 rks to post their pictures here. How much do we have?

I look forward to your postings.

    Hi bugibbian

Here is an early 57 Rk that i have. Unfortunately my pictures are very
poor as I don't have a very good camera or scanner.
This one appears to be a silver plated example and is completely unmarked.
After some serious study, I've concluded that the ribbon is of the war time
type as it seems to meet all the criteria. I suppose that means the ribbon
is worth more than the actual cross. It does look very nice in a display.

Here is my first early 1957 RK by S&L using wartime frames. Came with a good length of wartime ribbon. Good quality on this cross.
        This one is marked 800.

        Cheers.

Here is my second early 1957 RK by S&L using wartime frames. Quality is less on this one, but still a nice cross. Still have a bit to pay on it
          This one is unmarked.

          Cheers.

I love those crosses! What's the price for one with an original, wartime frame (the early ones)?

            Cheers,
            Junior.

Well, it's not as early as Peter's but it is an earlier one in that the ribbon does not glow, the acorns are low exellent detail, the ring loop, and it's metal core, here you go... and it came with the case that DOES glow The ribbon smells like a 45 year old sock drawer Got it for what I consider a wicked price of $300 USD only 3-4 months ago from a forum member, you know who you are and thanks again!

Schickle was my first and only guess as well. The "1939" date has the same charactersitics in that it is not "Exceptionally" well defined but a little subdued.

                              Shane Bennett.
Could you take a photo from an angle, showing the soldering of the frame?

                              Thanks.
