An example of the controversial so-called "French-made" Auxiliary Cruiser badge. Whether unofficial non-issued wartime production or post-war reproductions remains unknown but they seem to have emerged in collecting circles around 1970. Also commonly called "Bacqueville" badges although that Paris company has denied any connection. Third term used is "Mourgeon", again with no proven basis.Attached Files

I've seen 5 correctly marked Juncker examples posted over the years, including the one with the upside-down stamp (on the left of the composite image attached here).
Interestingly, all 5 show excellent obverse detail of the eagle (certainly not a universal feature of Juncker's AC badge production) and the shorter main pin, suggesting that they were all from an early production run.
