      Gary,

In addition to the fake Luft badges Mark posted, all Imperial aviation badges with the serif "J" are consdiered fake as well.

Thank you so much for the posting of the reverse of the Juncker badges. Is it possible for you to post the obverse of the Retired Pilot badges? Thanks.

          Hi guys,

A little late to the party here, and I see Mark has done an excellent job of posting many of the fake Juncker marks with serrif "J"s. But I will add a few more, just for the sake of argument. Here are a few LW glider fakes with the same type of bogus Juncker mark. Let me know if anyone wants to see the obverse...

Matrovsky, thanks for posting the closeups of the reverse hardware. Unfortunately, it confirms our suspicions and I would agree with MB's statement that reverse hardware is not textbook Juncker. So not only is the maker mark NOT seen on original Juncker badges, but the reverse hardware is also different than what we expect from originals as well. Never a good combination.....

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

            Hi Gary,

I just got home from the hospital. My wife was in a car accident, so have no time for this trivial stuff right now. Bad whiplash, but otherwise only stunned by the ordeal. Xrays showed no neck damage. I think the Toyota is totaled.

Just do a simple search for Juncker fake makermark, or check in the Fake Badges Forum. All images I posted were here on the Forum.

Here is one of the fake Retired Pilot badges, front and rear. It was mine, and I got burned on it. Don't feel bad. It goes with the hobby. It happens to all of us, sooner or later.
