Hello, what do you think about this desk Eagle? The marbel base is replacement. But the Eagle is original? I don't see the detail on other similar....

    Thanks for looking

I agree with you, it lacks detail, has visual casting seams, and in general is a rough casting. The adler beak is a bit squashed as well. All signs of a modern copy.

I agree with herd118's comments. And additionally, the RZM logo and code do not fit the base of this piece and are blurred...two more signs that this is a casting.

Sorry guys but you are wrong. It’s for sure original zinc eagle with textbook stamp. The details on these zinc eagle are correct. Maybe you compare with Bronce Nürnberg eagles but that’s false.

            ...

...and sure it’s cast - zinc cast with correct bronze finish. M3 is for flag tops and sysmbols. Base is replaced that’s correct

The smallest size rzm bird confuses a lot of people with the lack of detail
And although I don’t care for the cast lines
If it is the smallest size
              And gold gilted
              It’s a good score
Just take it off of that base
I’ll post a pic of mine to compare

i believe it"s got a chance to be original based on pics...looks like finish is corroding off ...makes it look like bad cast ...JMHO ...EC

Here’s mine you can compare with
Again the gold gilted versions are more rare than silver washed
And size matters with these rzm birds

Are you able to show a close up of the MM, is it engraved?

Unfortunately I don't have close up pics.
