    Car plate identification

    Hi guys.
I found this car plate in the Russian forest with metal detector on the roadside of an old road. There is no any war actions and other parts of that car there. But Wehrmacht forces was not far from the place i found it. I think Wehrmacht forces left this car in November-December of 1941 and it was moved by RKKA to Moscow in November-December. I mean that this car was there exactly in specified period, not earlier and not later.
This plate was forcibly removed from that car. So I am trying to investigate the cause of removing this plate.
    Questions:
    1. Car model which this plate was attached.
    2. Location of this plate on that car.
    3. And how this plate should be used (maybe it should be changed after every service).

I think it would be found in most BMW passenger cars from the 2nd half of the 1930s, in more than one model. The information and instructions are pretty much the same for all, just the carburetor information may vary. Of course, it would not be changed after servicing, the information in the blank fields would be indicated with chemical pencil or something similar, then wiped and re-written.

As for the placement, here is how it's installed in a BMW 320:

its a lubrication plate, for BMW 315, BMW 319, BMW 326, BMW 327, BMW 335 as I know prior of 1941 as Eisnach stopped to make cars in 1941. Copy plates are on the market.
