    An Audi part.

    Hi.
Came form the attic. Can anyone ID this? I presume it is WWII cause there were German military items. Workshop related as well.

    Regards

Its for the generator but don´t know for which engine or vehicle in detail, back then it was Auto Union not Audi.

        It's an ignition for a two-stroke engine.

As it was said, back then the 4 ring emblem belonged to the big company Auto Union. These were symbols for the 4 older companies, which were united into the AU: DKW, Wanderer, Audi and Horch. And from these, as far as I know, it was only DKW that produced 2 stroke engines /Wanderer were middle class cars, Audi were high class, Horch were super class/. DKW produced 2 stroke cars, motorcycles and power generators.
