    I was very surprised form this find. Never used pieces with original boxes, in yellow colour, really top condition !!!

          I have a few of these as well, but were brought back by a GI after the war, same boxes and packaging as yours. There must have been a find somewhere with a lot of unissued ones, but not as attractive as a uniform or medal to most GI's.

                  Hi,
                  This screen heater was a universally usable item for most softskin vehicles of 6 and 12 volts.
                  See attached photos of a Stoewer lEpkw Kfz 2/2 Funkwagen (12 volt) and a VW Kubelwagen Kfz 1 (6 volt) .
