M37 ankle boots with Gebirgsjäger hardware - soldiers estate

Hey guys!
I just got a pair of German army M37 ankle boots as part of a huge officers estate.
The boots are in good and absolutely untouched condition as found. They belonged to an Army officer of the Infanterie-Regiment 41. This pair is rather special since the shoe soles were heavily equipped with Gebirgsjäger hardware. They also came with insoles.

The ankle boots were fixed with hobnails for mountain boots by in the field. I am not sure if done by Gebirgsjäger or not.

Hard to say if it was done period or after the war ?
IMO postwar for hiking and not used after the work was done ...
