Gasmask and Gascan 45 dated

Ciao a tutti dear equipment lovers
Finally I can post something
This is an (IMO) marvellous example of an very late war Gasmask and Gascan set 45 dated. Mask, canister and filetr are dated all 45, btw there are many parts sill 44 dated.
This is a set that I've been looking for a long time
I love especially this type of mask with still natural/uncolored metal parts.

Very nice mask in great condition !

it is unusual to see natural metal part, most often it is painted blue

With this set I consider closed my gasmask & co. collection.
Now I'm looking only for a rare bird...a 1939 set with apple green colored gascan. Just the time to find one...hope as soon

Mike...I use a Reflex Cannon, 3 softbox with white light, correct setting on comera and, at last, photo shop to clean the white

Very nice, but the gasmaske itself seems to be marked only 1944 ?
Can you take a look inside the mask, there must be an ink stamp with the production date.

I attach some pictures of my 1945 gasmaske for comparison.

The mask you are showing is indeed a 1945 produced mask but it was not in military use. These are not uncommon here in germany and I had a few in the past (only kept one). They were used in industry.

From my experience i can say that i never handled a 45 produced military used gas mask. All these blue painted gm38/30 are dated 1943/44.
