can someone help me with this piece ? It is first time I see it...I only forgot to make photo of inner metal holders for some tools....Thanks all for help

From what I have found out, it is an auxiliary tool box to set up field hospitals. It would contain regular tools. I can imagine the nail and rivet boxes are not original to that box.
