Never seen that variant before but I love the packaging and illustrations.

Yes madam, you too can set fire to your house with ease, and you in the welding bay........don't worry .....ignore the gas cylinders and crack on with your scran!

Oh how I yearn for the simple days of yesteryear where if it happened it happened and you were quit rightly considered a bit of a numpty.

As you can tell I believe that we have all gone a bit nuts on health and safety but don't tell anyone

Might the 43 dated parts belonging to combat canteens be post war applied ?

                  Sorry, yes i see.
But HRE is that a code for the esbit firm?
Or a partner maker that made parts for them.
HRE canteens were made by who? In 43 when the germans wanted to disguise the name of the firms, codes became king. The brand esbit and letter code seem incongruous together.

                    Hi

Look at the History of the ESBIT company:
                    https://esbit.de/made-to/

I think they used left over wartime parts.

                    Regards
