    Marching boots - authentication

I don't know a ton about foot gear, but I acquired these from an Army buddy while stationed in Germany back in 2002 thinking they are original WWII Wehrmacht. I never bother to put boots on my mannequins so I was thinking about putting them on Estand, but I want to make sure they are original before doing that.

From what little I know, they are not "text book" as the pulls are leather and not black cloth and their method of attachment is different from the standard issue boots I am familiar with. The heel horseshoes are shorter and do not line the entire heel. There are also no markings anywhere that I can discern. Perhaps these are private purchase? I appreciate any expertise the forum can give me about them. Thanks!

Thanks Nick! I guess they could be officer's boots but the decidedly officer boots I have in my collection are taller and fancier and not typical "Marschstiefel" like these are. Perhaps for an Offizier who needed to walk a lot and not ride his horse or in his Kubelwagen?

These are private made . So many variations are existing for OFF and NCO .
These one do have a combat look more than a parade look !
