So Patrick, I don't want to get into a pissing contest because I think you're a good dude, but this is one of the biggest problems on WAF (and probably among people in general). We have a tendency to jump to a conclusion without actually knowing what somebody meant. If in doubt, find it out. If a request for clarification resulted in me saying I don't like displaying items with a swas then by all means - feel free to suggest I find a less offensive aspect of the hobby, like collecting Allied items or something. There are still ways for us to express our opinions in a civil way, aren't there?

My point was for those who have their stuff displayed in a part of the home where it's visible to guests, the initial impression of the "swastika-less" camo uniform is a lot easier to deal with.

Man, some of you guys just really know how to f...-up a wet dream.
Well, can imagine what outside people can think.. but who cares ! Do you realy put so much care for others, unrelated with you people ? Or who can't distinguish hobby/collecting from political ideology ( if the don't they are simply brainless idiots ) ?

All my friends and family knew very well what I'm collecting ( some of them also collect) and personaly don't care about others from outside ( and realy don't care about, this whole, badly understood, political correctness ).

A little off topic here, but this camo uniform represents probably the best way to set-up a Landser if you want confidence that nothing has been f'd with on it. Still reasonably easy to find the pants and jacket with nice colors at fairly decent prices. It's also easy on the eyes as you don't have swastikas flashing around on it.
        You`re welcome

Funny story: a few years ago I saw a guy wearing that set (STURM copy of course, not original) during a mass in church in Krakow, Poland, just like it was a normal winter clothing. Most of the mass I was wondering how many people around him realized what he was actually wearing

I am presently surveying felt winter boots form the second world war. I am trying to find example with dates marked on them. These dates are typically marked on tags sewn internally or stamped on the inside of the cloth pulls. (You have to lift the pulls up to see them) I would love to know if any of these pairs are dated?
