Hi Folks:
I recently picked this up with another late war rucksack with leather straps, etc.. but this rucksack has no leather...all cloth and webbing with aluminum clips, rings, etc.. On the inside...I found a stamp "Mueller K.G."...and maybe a date etc...but can't make it out. Was there affirm named "Mueller K.G."...that made field gear??
It has that "Been there...got the t-shirt" look....with minor tears and stains...but solid shape.
Maybe a AK rucksack..but could also be "late war" since they were running out of leather...but then again...I've run into many late-war period rucksacks...with "paper-leather/man-made leather....so maybe AK tropical area of operation (down south).
I would appreciate any comments...thank you.
