G43 pouch need info before buying.

Pouch collectors, I have a collection of 98K pouches, but I admit G43's are not my area. Researched here but found nothing with this type of Waffenampt, WaA 416.
Your thoughts and or opinions before I buy it. No other MM on them, smells musty, no glow as well and slight corrosion on all metal pieces. Thank you! Dave.

Something is off. I don't like it to be honest. IMO a new repro on market.

Thanks I'll pass on it then. To all that think the same, please feel free to use as reference! Thank you! Dave.

The general design appears to be close to known originals....Best case scenario, unmarked original with spurious stamp added to back....However, the closing metal stud looks to be made of aluminum, something essential for more important things in 1943-45...Could also be a pouch made for postwar G/K43 use(?)....Bodes

I agree. Looks like someone is making fakes of the "bla44" pouches. Amazing, when you consider these are still readily available.

The example shown here is too sharp ( original I have and seen, are here or there deformed, because of high quantity stocked together ), the leather looks completely diffrent ( far better quality of originals ) and all I have seen, or had I collection, were ALWAYS marked ( haven't seen any black bla 1944 pouches unmarked and have seen hundreds of them for past few years when they show up )!
The stud is actualy steel not aluminium.

And what is most importants I have seen repros of those sold as repros ( and usualy they were in similar prices as originals ).
