The paint appears to be appropriately aged, this is not a modern repaint by any means, the paint cracking and wear patterns appear all to be correct and the color scheme appears to be correct. I would say that in my opinion this is a original piece. For those who disagree by just posting one word opinions on originality, please do your research before posting.

Dont buy the story but eat the facts. Be lucky you found a canister for free in a trash but i see a lot of red flags here. Definitely not a can i would add to my collection.

First of all I dont see authentic traces of wear but obviously some poor tool markings

The top of the can comes with top mint colours without any signs of wear...doesnt make sense
