    Very uncommon orange packed Klarscheiben

Just picked up these 3 Klarscheiben. Threy all came out of an untouched barn find gas mask can. I have never seen orange packed Klarscheiben in 25 years. Anybody else owns an example?

I think the package just oxidized over the years, I believe all the packages were initially white/creamy but certain chemicals in the packages might have become unstable turning it into this orange color.

Thanks for your opinion Filip but why should only one of three packages develop such an homogeneous tint whearas the others rest in their original white colour. They are all from the same manufactor.

Can be differences in the batches, perhaps due shortages they might have switched temporarily to other products which might not be as stable as the usual products they used. it's just a train of thought, not a certain fact. There would be no practical reason to use a different color. Or perhaps at one point only this orange tinted "paper" was all that was available at that time and since it doesn't matter much what color it was they just used what was on hand.

I think your last point could be the reason. We wont know why but good to see even the germans sometimes deviated from the norm
