Guys would like to present you some very interesting, late war IMO , Y-straps made from recycled leather parts; to be more precise , made from pre war LW backpack carrying straps ! I seen smilar past years ( here as well ), but never had luck to find one , and here it is now.
I guess nothing were wasted in Germany ( similar like british webbing used for all sort of equipment ).
The interesting this are the markings ( both straps have exacly same markings ) ; maker markings ( Walter Duscksch Hor. Petersdorf Vrsgd 1937 ) and unit markings ( Fla. M.G. RES. KOMP. 491 and below 2 ZUG )
