Wehrmacht Kurvenmesser

Found this kurvenmesser recently with a Wehrmacht seal on it circling the box.
What do you guys think?

No one an idea if the wehrmacht seal would be originally applied on this cardboard box?

To be honest, i never saw it before..... so i can’t tell if it’s original or not.....

Just an observation: it’s kind of strange that the instructions how to use the Kurvenmeseer is covered by the wehrmacht seal......

Normally i would say: hoheitsadler and the wehrmacht sign is used to make value higher and most of the time is fake, but this one looks rather authentic..... sorry i can’t help more....

Hi Tom,

Yes indeed as I have the box in hands, the seal seems to have the same age and wear as the box. Also never saw this kind of seal on any kurvenmesser before, if this was done regularly there should be more example lying around.

The box label looks printed with an home/office printer....

Then a very close high res. pic would help to detemine if the lable is original or not...

I do like the box, but not the seal. Looks added to increase the value.
