    Hi,

    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards

There is one solution to know if it's original or not. Take a cotton swab with metal polish. Clean correctly your cup before under water. Let dry. Apply a bit of polish on your cup and rub the surface with the cotton swab. If the cotton swab turn to black, it's good and it means the cup is made of bakelite. Absence of color on the swab means it's made of plastic or resin.

Absolutely no need of doing that. The look will be the enought to determine if real or not. Also weight make the diffrence ; plastic one are light whiel bakelit heavier. The touch also make diffrence ; plastic are 'warm' in while bakelit are 'cold'. Tapping on cup would also helpe in determine if real or not plastic one sounds diffrent than bakleit one.

The one on foto looks real, dug up piece ( typical matt and 'rough' surface after long time in ground ) or was kept in not the best condition.
