        Try "Everything is wrong" for measures! This canvas cover resembles the original cover in no way! Originals have no buckle/strap fixtures, but studs. Hole for charging handle is round, not oval. Ends are lined with horsehair padding to keep dust out. Inside is re-enforced with leather and/or ersatz rubber to vital points to avoid wear. originals have a small hook on the outside....... This cover is a postwar surplus piece from some army.

            Dust covers for the MG34 is still reasonable, when found. They have been sold for anything between $100 and $200 on ebay.

            K98 dust covers are no longer reasonable. The last I saw sold for $ 610,-
