1941 dated MP40 Pouch for review

I have been looking for an early war MP40 pouch for some time and have finally found what I consider to be a very nice example.

It has certainly been used but is still in good condition. Unfortunately not so clear from the photos it is marked gmn and dated 1941.

An interesting point is that the leather fasteners have been blackened (compare with the brown belt loops)

As always I would appreciate your comments, observations etc.

well chicken looks like original stamp from period ,its nice well used original pouch

I'm no expert when talking about MP pouches but this one looks nice to me.

Hello, yes nice original pouch manufactured by Phillipp Riebel & Söhne, Sattlerwaren u. Sportartikelnfabrik from Ingolstadt. Manufacturing code "gmn". WaA136

No worries about the "big chicken" this is indeed a correct stamp.
