big tropical pack question

my Friend just got this pack .... He is a member here - but cannot post pics - So I do that on his behalf..
question is - what was exact use of this type packs !?!?!? This one is RBNR marked

That is a large clothing bag and usually the type you see is in Luftwaffe Blue or Tropical. Bill

hmm.. thats maybe right - science straps are not to heavy construction - That Would indicate some large items - but not heavy - like cloth

I have two Large tropical and four Luftwaffe blue clothing bags in my collection. I do know what they are and the aren't backpacks you will find them marked with RB's or FL's. Bill

Hi Mickey,

they DEFINITELY ARE LW bekleidungsacken ,which do exist in green and blue canvas!They were used by LW mannschaft and Officers too to hold their clothing and personal belonging during "transferts"!
