3 Tone camo wooden Kartusch K.18 Box

On my tour to the north i first picked up the shown LW camo gas mask can near Bremen and afterwards i was visiting Hamburg where i could score this 3tone camo ammunition box. Straight out of the attic. Never been in a collection before. Nicely marked LHW (Linke Hofmann Werke Schlesien) 1935 with overpainted Reichswehr eagle.

Thanks Jan. So many bad fakes out there but this here was a lucky punch for 50 euro. Nothing more militaria related in that house. Fortunately the older man decided to sell it while the wife wanted to keep it because of the beautiful colours. Sometimes i think i have married the wrong woman :P. Please share your example with us too
