WW2 German ski troops straps? Eckel

Hello all,
A mystery item from a huge lot I came into possession of last month, they seem to have some sort of fur backing to keep them from sliding, buckles and material appear ww2 german to me but are they ww2 german and if so what are they for? ski/mountain troops? or postwar bundeswehr issue?

I know them as seals for skis. As you mentioned, used to prevent sliding down when going uphill. See the Wiki article:

I will look into that, didn't see any showing up there though. Found a pair on a dealers site for 45.00.

I bought a marked pair for 100. Taking your pair is not marked, Id say between 50 and 80.
Quite rare, but not much sought after.

Easiest way to tell military from civilan ones, is the use of typical Wehrmacht style webbing straps. Same goes for snow shoes.
