Not German WWII production. Perhaps German WWI or Polish WWII...captured and reissued? I've got one found in France.

...agree not german standard production, but nice overpainted camo scheme, would love to see some more detailed pictures of it..

German WW I or early postwar. I have several such boxes. Only two are signed. One on the side shed, the other under the handle.

Reichswehr period MG ammo box ( camo scheme says it all ). Have a similar one .

Yep, but that scheme might be a repaint over WWI or early post WWI paint. The box it self doesn't look produced in nazi period IMO.
