Some time ago I bought this Rahm & Kampmann Kaiserslautern pouche, there is no year of production on it but I think it is pre war production and it looks like it was painted black during ww2, the only thing that is unusual to me is a signature inside middle flap: 1./N.42 I

Can anyone decipher what does it mean?
