    unknown Sanitätertasche

    found in same area as Zeltbahn 31 posted some minutes ago. Has seen much postwar use for keeping nails. found no stamps. Any information appreciated

          I agree with Robert, neither for me this is WW II Germany medical issue bag. For sure it could be beute or whatever other origine...as so much of this stuff was (re)-used in the field, especially by medics.

              Hi , for me this bag Looks like an Austrian Gendarmerie Patroulien Tasche from the early postwar years.
              I have two that are dated from 1947.
              Some of These bags found their way to the austrian Bundesheer and were used as mapcases and maybe also as sani bags.

              Here is such a bag on my early postwar gendarmerie impression.
