    One sole M44 ankle boots

    Hello,
    i'd like to know your opinions for this pair of one sole m44 ankle boots.
    Real WW2 or post war?

        These are not M44 boots but I see no red flags regarding their soles...

                Actualy looks like the hobnails were added much later ( look how used is the sole , comparing to hobnails ). So most probably never finished example ( with extra front/toes sole part missing ), used postwar as civil boots, with recently added hobnails ( probably somebody didn't knew how to finish the boots /didn't had parts and a good cobbler around who could finish the job, and simply added the hobnails )


                Anyway; nice M43 boots , which would need proper restoration/finish.

                  Original late war lowboots, but the soles are installed the wrong way around. Hence the half sole is on top of the main sole in stead of the opposite

                              also this is a proff that these boots never had a hobnails, because they were attached to the smaller part of soles wich could be also removed and changed for new one when was destroyed during using boots at the front.

                              In the past boots hasnt been "one time use" - they were produced in the way to be easy restored.
