    Pouch Configuration for G43 rifle

    Hi.

    I have one question about German WW2 solide who was armed with G43 rifle.
    Is these solider used both G43 pouch or one standard K98 pouch and other G43 pouch?

    I remeber reading some threads with similiar question on WAF. The conclusion was that the Landser were issued only one K43 pouch and one K98 pouch (I guess due to the shortage of K43 mags).

      Yes always just one G43 pouch along with a normal pouch!

        Interesting question.

        Would a Soldbuch shed any light on such a question? I mean if the Soldbuch recorded the issue of such a rifle would it also record pouch(s) issued?

            1 Magazinetaschen (pouch) +
            3 Magazine (2 into the pouch and 1 with the gewehr)
