Boots again

Hi, I know there are a lot of requests for ID/evaluation of boots, and checking previous posts I did find a couple pairs that looked very much like these I have, but had been given somewhat different judgements. So, I'm still not sure what I'm looking at. I can't find any markings or labels at all. They are 435mm tall from bottom of heel to top of shaft, and 310mm from back of heel plate to front of toe plate. They are quite dry and have been polished who knows how many times in the distant past, but I'm fairly sure the front shoe is rough-out, while the heel/shaft are smooth-out. Feels from the inside also like that's the way it goes (feels opposite inside). The inner piece of shaft reinforcement is smooth on the towards-user inside face.

No thoughts? Here's a few of the recent posts I found about similar-looking boots for reference if that helps:

Seemed like these ended up being 1944 dated private purchase, but not certain if that was for-sure and if so, for what likely use- the lack of nails would seem to me to indicate the user didn't plan to go tromping in the weeds much?

These are also similar, except the additional half-sole, no nails, and rubber heel pad. The one opinion forwarded said not wehrmacht, but not much else.

ilar to mine, except again an additional half-sole, and the toe plate shape, but has the single row of nails on the edges. One conclusion was wehrmacht EM/NCO private purchase

These are a bit similar, with numerous detail differences (half-sole, full set of nails at one point, where the front shoe and heel meet, etc), and are considered wehrmacht, but there's another pair (can't find the thread) that looked almost the same but despite carrying a full set of nails was judged political, not wehrmacht.

So, I'm still not sure how to to evaluate boots, especially these not-classical-issue ones. Enlightenment would be greatly appreciated-!

For me these are the classic Officer high boots worn with breeches. Could be any service but most likely Heer or w SS. This example have been set up with pretty heavy duty soles and hardware which would indicate intent for field wear.
