Any Idea What This Is?

Does anybody know what this is? I wasn't quite sure what category to list it in. I thought perhaps it was something attached to a piece of equipment or a box since it has the four holes drilled in it. It is about 3/4" long x 1/2" high, and is rather heavy for its size. Does anyone know what is, or is supposed to be (if it's fake)? Any help is appreciated!
