    Simple. Is Manions reputable ?

do not feel that any item of theirs is original unless you know exactly what you are looking at. MANY REPRO'S! BEWARE! I know this sounds harsh but I think others will say the same. Glenn

I absolutely agree, a lot of junk there, but if you know what to look for, you can also find nice items.....

So you really have to know what to look for....

Like this beautyfull 1943 date Aframe... something for you Glenn ??

      see my point ?

this aframe is nothing yet... - the same is on Peters V L. site right now...

what was a real shock for me ..few years back on Manions site was a Polish post war, all steel, shovel (screved model from 60's - very good entrenching tool BTW - I have one like that for trips with metal detector) and it was all painted in ordenance tan with LW waffenamt - like on gravity knives, 3 letter code - and it was called a last modell paratrooper shovel...

I would't buy anything on this site..

              Thanks for the opinions chaps,

I have bought a few bits and pieces from them and have so far a 50% good/bad ratio. I got a nice first pattern E tool cover and smedical gear, but the Panzer blitz was just wrong. Its all synthetic on the back.
