              The only thing I'm sure is wartime would be the keeper. The rest looks postwar austrian to me.

                  Isn't "SC" one of the normal maker's mark on an original sling?

                  It looks ok to me.

                        It is, but this maker made also metal hardware in postwar era.
                        All original K98k ( and MP 40 ) carrying slings I have in my collection and had seen over the years have diffrent style buckles ( with crossed pattern on blocking bolt and were flat on both sites on bolt holding leather strap ).

                        The one shown here has typical construction of postwar buckles.

                        I will make some photos of my carrying belts and show what I mean.
