Gents, the tornister looks awesome but the cross is for sure fake. It do not like:
              #1 Leather texture
              #2 Colours
#3 Ageing...or rather lack of it
#4 Stitches...colour and "fat" of the thread.

Some time ago some members were very concern about my bags which goes into it because doubt in my skills. Well, maybe it would be lesson :P

I tend to agree with Robert. The stiching is first thing on this one which says IMO that it's a fake red cross on it ( it is hand stiching while should be machine stiching ). The leather itself is also bad one ; all orginal red cross I have seen had pebbled leather ( early one ) or pig leather ( late war ). This one has a very strange leather ( seen similar in postwar made DDR mapcases ), none of wartime leather I have seen.

                  Thanks all for your comments.
                  Robert, you're killing me
I read your posts about the PRYM snaps and I was a believer (that they are good )
Now, you cannot see fakes everywhere
Your concerns may be legit but my pics have been taken inside, beside of my window , this morning when the weather was very cloudy. Difficult so to have a good judgement of the color, the wear and the thread. Moreover, the tornister is mint, everything on it is mint...
If it's a fake cross, someone spent few hours and has very good skills to stitch it through the leather panel...
Anyway, I still love it and it's already in my room

                    Good evening,

Can a picture from inside view on stitching be provided?

                    Regards

                    Jan B.

I didnt even look at the cross till I got home from work... and like Robert pointed out - it has some problems - stitching being the most obvious...

Neither did I. Anyhow, that tornister looks original late war made of ersatz material. Rare variant in good condition, I would think.

This one here, I have spotted, does look like an original Sanitar tornister...but cross is missing
