    German rucksack WW2?

    Hello, your opinion about this rucksack ? Probably post-war I presume? All the bst.

    IMO civilain with military parts. Bur very nice looking bag !

        Indeed and often these are sold as being late war or even medical rucksacks...few weeks ago there was one sold as medical variant on a well known Dutch dealers site. For me it was a postwar constructed rucksack with red cross added.

        Differences between wartime and postwar made examples are not that difficult to see.

          Hello, i agree! But this one had a good looking.. But generally German military rucksack had 2 pockets instead of one for this one. Second, it was too cheap, it couldn't be a late war model.

            Having only one pocket and too cheap aren't criteria to dismiss it. There are other things about it which makes it postwar fabrication !

            See this old thread, you'll find all answers about these type of "one pocket rucksacks" , often related to medical use ( although I'm sure that many saw service too as regular pieces with RC)
