A Frame Packing

I was packing my A Frame and wanted to try and roll my blanket and Zelt together, with Zelt covering it of course. I saw it on Generation War but I can’t figure out how to do it with out the roll being too big to strap down

Also it is common sense, no german soldier carried a blanket in combat, thats collectors´ myth. So just roll up your zeltbahn

You can add a blanket like you would with an "Affe" Tornister.
You need 3 standard equipment straps for it. Just attach it to the metal loops encircled in the picture below (pictures are from Google):

Nice reenactor shot, but its incorrect. Of course you can wear it that way (or fix whatever you like), but it was not meant for it. Only for Zeltbahn, plus coat (at Tornister only). A-frame, zeltbahn only.

I'm not sure if it was official rules to wear the blanket like that on an A-frame, but i've seen it before (cannot find the picture at this moment).

They carried a blanket on the Tornister.
Here is a picture from my collection, the young soldiers wear their greatcoat and have a blanket and zeltbahn attached with 3 straps to their backpack.
