    MG 34/42 gunners Pouch

    Hey guys,

I finally find an MG34/42 gunners pouch. I'm almost 100 % sure it's an original one but I would like to know the value for these items.
The seller asks 350 euro for the pouch which I think is a bit expensive isn't it?

No room for an offer, fixed price...

    Kind regards

It's a good pouch but it is not worth anywhere near €350.

      My thoughts exactly...

What is the price range for these items? 200-250 euro?

I wouldn't pay more than 200 euro. These fuq 1945 pouches are not hard to find.

Will do mate, it is worth keeping an eye on e-stand on this forum (if you have access to it) as they appear on there from time to time.

            Good luck!

                Frederik,

Not the same kind of presstoff as the fuq. Your's is one of those cardboard like ones, void of any interiors and front holes covered with rivets. The one posted above is complete, Russian capture, though.

                    Charles,

I've handled a bunch up till now, some of which in very worn condition. They should be unmarked or only have a WaA. The material however was marked and some originals show markings inside the material.

                      Yep,

I know the difference, both are original. These cardboard like ones were considered doubtful till one was found with a maker's stamp on the inside of the top epf 1945. In the inside of the body it was stamped and dated 1944. It is thought that the stamp would correspond to the producer of the cardboard presstoff material "Capama". Most of these show no stamp, or only a WaA on the closing strap, or even an SS stamp (which is considered fake stamp). They are always void of partitions, interior fittings and holes are covered by rivets. See in the following links:
