Y straps ?

Hey guys, got some leather lately and I was wondering what exactly was it used for.

The broader straps with double hooks on the bottom I suspect come from a Y strap but cannot figure out how were thet attached to the ring ?

Also there is another strap with 2 D-links which I have no idea about.

First straps are BACKPACK straps. Two more quipment straps and last one ( with two catch with spring ) is most probably carrying strap for flare pistol.
