    DAK gas mask bag ?

    Hey mates

I have come up with these 2 M31 gas mask puches. One of them is with metallic caps, other with bakelite buttons. On the mustard one there's a manufacturer's code "gdn". I have read on previous posts that gdn accompanied by Tp meant Tropical ergo DAK. Is it possible mine is DAK too ?

Thank you kindly, any other info is welcomed about which manufacturer hides behind gdn or any vital info.

    Regards

First ; those GASPLANE BAGS not gasmask bags ( gasplanes used as protection during gas attack ).
Second ; Tropical (TP) designation doesn't mean that it is DAK item - it si simply designation for usage in hot areas ( like southern Russia, Italy, Greece, southern France ).

regarding gasplane bags itself ; nice orginal pieces ( one seems to be postwar finish as it has bakelit buttons instead of press buttons ).

Late war bags were also made with bakelite buttons, i think both bags are OK...

          Hi Gents,

these Buttons are the same as on the early BGS (Bundesgrenzschutz/Federal Border Guard) Camo-Uniforms.

          Best regards

The feldgrau one is ok .
Original bakelite Brown buttons , not BGS post war !
This yellow pouch may be original , late war made .
